Health insurance
Southern Cross is New Zealand’s leading provider of group health insurance schemes. We offer a wide range of affordable, flexible plans that can be either voluntary (employee pays premiums) or subsidised (employer pays premiums). We make it easy to balance cost with cover requirements.
Health management accounts (activa)
You can choose to reward your employees with funded activa* health management accounts. Health dollars deposited in an activa account can be used specifically for health and wellbeing-related purchases – everything from sports equipment and pharmacy goods to doctor visits.
Wellness management programmes
We can help you to design an effective wellness programme to support the health and wellbeing of your employees. Programmes can include medical checks, flu vaccinations, weight management programmes, education seminars and much more.
Injury management
Our injury management unit, Care Advantage, is a TPA (third party administrator) for the ACC Partnership programme. You can expect the highest standard of case management and rehabilitation, claims processing, advocacy, and workplace health and safety advice from Care Advantage.
